Bray Rowing Club is a skiff rowing club located on the seafront in Bray Co Wicklow.

Bray Rowing Club is situated on the southern end of the Seafront, Bray, Co Wicklow and can be seen training most evenings between April and September. Each year Bray Rowing Club participates in rowing regattas hosted by the member clubs of the ECRC. These races generally happen during the summer months with regattas located along the East Coast with Brays own regatta normally been hosted on Bray Seafront during the month of July.

🍁Congratulations to our entire team on an incredible month in the 2026 Concept2 Fall Team Challenge.🍁

Thanks to everyone’s hard work and contribution, Bray Rowing Club finished NUMBER 1 IN THE WORLD in the 'on-water' category! 🌍

Every metre counted, and this result is a testament to the commitment and team spirit shown by everyone who got involved throughout the challenge.

A special mention to our Chairman, John Curran, who led from the front with an incredible 510,000 metres rowed over the month!

Well done to everyone who contributed to this fantastic achievement. A brilliant effort from the whole club and something we can all be proud of! 💛🖤

💛🖤Bray Rowing Club 2026 End of Year Awards🖤💛

Bray Rowing Club celebrated another fantastic season at its End of Year Awards on Saturday, 10th October, at the Fisherman’s Club, Bray.

The evening brought together members to recognise the achievements, dedication and contributions of our rowers and volunteers throughout the 2026 season.

Most Improved Rower of the Year – Junior: Daniel Nolan

Rower of the Year – Senior: Barry Robinson

Rower of the Year – Junior: Malachy Shortt

Rookie of the Year: Billy Fitzgerald

Crews who achieved podium finishes in the overall East Coast Rowing Championships were also recognised on the night and presented with their East Coast medals, celebrating their hard work and success throughout the season 👏🏼

A special moment came when Club Chairman John Curran presented the Under 16 Boys with a framed photograph of their race at the All-Irelands, recognising their achievements at the event. In a lovely gesture of appreciation, the juniors presented John, their coach and cox, with a framed painting of the same photograph as a thank you for all his hard work, dedication and support throughout the season.

A huge well done to all our winners and nominees, and a massive thank you to everyone who contributed to another memorable year for Bray Rowing Club. From our rowers and coxswains to our coaches, volunteers and supporters, it’s the commitment and team spirit of our members that make our club so special.

Here’s to another great season ahead!

💛🖤What a fantastic three days at Dunnes Stores Cornelscourt for our bag packing fundraiser! 💛🖤

From Friday through Sunday, our members were out in force, helping pack bags, meeting customers and raising vital funds for the club.

A massive thank you to Dunnes Stores Cornelscourt Shopping Centre for giving us the opportunity to run the fundraiser and for your continued support.

We’d also like to thank all the organisers and everyone who volunteered their time across the three days. And a huge thank you to all our Bray Rowing Club members who got involved and gave up their time to make the weekend such a success. 💪🚣‍♀️

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who donated. Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference to our club and helps us continue to grow and support our rowers.

We really appreciate the incredible support from everyone who helped make the three days such a success!

🇮🇪 All-Ireland Championships | Bantry 2026 🚣‍♂️

What a fantastic weekend for Bray Rowing Club in Bantry! 💛🖤

A huge congratulations to all five crews who represented the club at the All-Ireland Championships. Every crew put in a brilliant performance, competed with great spirit and, most importantly, enjoyed the experience. We couldn’t be prouder of everyone who took part! 👏

🏆 Heritage U16 Boys – 2nd Place 🥈
🏆 Heritage U18 Boys – 3rd Place 🥉

All other crews also put in fantastic performances, finishing well up the field in their races.

A brilliant achievement for the club and a great way to finish the season. Huge thanks to all the parents, coaches, volunteers and supporters who helped make the weekend possible.

Well done to all our rowers – you represented Bray brilliantly! 💛🖤

🚣 Wicklow Outdoors Week is almost here! 🚣🏻‍♀️

We're looking forward to welcoming everyone who secured a place at our Rowing Taster Session on Monday, 10th August as part of Wicklow Outdoors Week.

The two sessions are now fully booked – thank you for the fantastic response! 🙌

If you missed out, don't worry. Wicklow Sports and Recreation has a waiting list available, so if a place becomes available, you'll be in with a chance of joining us.

Great day of racing at Wicklow Rowing Club and with it being our last regatta of the season, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made it such a memorable one.

To our rowers, coxes, volunteers, supporters, families, and everyone behind the scenes – your commitment, encouragement, and hard work are what make Bray Rowing Club such a special place.

A big thank you also to the East Coast Rowing (ECRC) and all the host clubs for organising another fantastic season of racing. Every regatta is only possible because of the countless volunteers who give their time.

While the regatta season may be over, our season certainly isn't! We still have our long-distance races ahead, and the hard work continues as we keep training, improving, and enjoying every outing on the water.
