We join with the wider GAA community in mourning the passing of former GAA president and Leinster Council chairman Liam O' Neill.

The Laois man was the 37th president of the Association and was instrumental in setting up the hurling forum to strengthen hurling in the so called weaker counties while also overseeing the introduction of haw eye technology.

Liam also offered his services and wealth of experience to clubs, including ours when called upon.

The death has occurred of Nora Stack, Cromane county Kerry.

We send our sympathies and condolences to Nora's son Tommy Stack and the extended Stack family at this sad time.

The Under 10 boys’ and girls’ teams are running a Table Quiz to raise funds for the annual Gary Kenny Festival of Football. This is the first year that both the boys’ and girls’ teams have come together to organise the event, and we’d really appreciate your support.

If you’d like to come along, gather a team and book a table (or even two!), we’d love to see you there. It’s always a fantastic night with plenty of fun, and every table booked helps support the festival. We hope to see you there!

The Senior camogie team had a minute silence before the throw-in of their challenge match against Broadsmill on Sunday, in memory of Abigail Egan, who got called up to play Camogie with the Angels in Heaven.

The number 9 jersey remained unused to represent the nine precious years she had with her family.

Congratulations to the winners of our 2026 Golf Classic for the Pat Murphy Cup. With a massive score of 109 the team of Ciaran Murphy, Liam Holland, Brendan Birchall and John Holland claimed top spot. The longest drive was won by Gavin O'Reilly with a booming 303yds.

A massive thank you to Haven Hire, the main sponsor of the day, the Murphy Family and everyone who sponsored or supported in any way.

Join us this Friday night, ahead of the All Ireland Football Final between Kerry and Mayo.

We'll have the Know Your County Quiz to see who'll have the bragging rights for the next 12 months hosted by Shay Cummins, starting at 9pm, so make sure the Kerry and Mayo reps are brushing up on their stuff.

The Members' draw for the right to buy a pair of tickets will take place. As per usual, you must be present on Friday night in the clubb to enter.

We'll also have the raffle for the two Premium seat tickets. This is open to everyone and you can buy tickets online or on the night.

Finally, we'll have lots of intercounty rivalry, craic and banter.
