One final coffee stop at Eileen's Bakery & Cafe in Castleisland for the Tralee Manor West BC leisure group.

Eileen’s became a regular and much-loved stop on the group’s weekend spins, and we were very sorry to hear that the bakery has now closed after many years of business on Main Street.

A sincere thank-you to Eileen and all the staff for the warm welcome, great food and countless cups of coffee. You will be greatly missed by our cyclists and by the wider Castleisland community.

We wish Eileen and everyone involved the very best for the future. 💙💛

A great ride from Shane Fleming at the Munster Road Race Championships in Whitechurch, Co. Cork, on Sunday.

Competing in the M40 category, Shane finished inside the top ten overall in the combined Masters race — a strong performance over a demanding 85km course.

Well done, Shane, on another excellent ride representing Tralee Manor West BC! 👏🚴

🥉 Munster TT bronze for Niall!

Huge congratulations to Tralee Manor West BC’s Niall McCarron, who produced a fantastic ride to take third place in the M50 category at the Munster Provincial Time Trial Championships on Sunday.

The championship was held over a 28.75km course from Five Alley, outside Nenagh, to Birdhill and back.

A brilliant result against strong competition and another Munster medal for the club. Well done, Niall! 👏🚴‍♂️

As our Tuesday night training Summer season comes to a close, our numbers have dropped a bit but some hardy souls took to the flat route this evening!

💨 27–28km/h

With the PJ Riordan Stage Race hosted by our neighbours Newcastle West Cycling Club coming up in two weeks, this is an opportunity to ride the routes for Stages 1 and 3, along with the time-trial course.

Non-members are welcome on both spins.
