A Brilliant Start to TY!

Our TY students kicked off the year on a fantastic note with a brilliant bonding trip to Tanagh Outdoor Education and Training Centre!

It was a great opportunity for students to get to know one another, work as a team and challenge themselves through a range of exciting activities. The water sports and rock climbing were particular highlights, with everyone getting stuck in and embracing the challenges!

A fantastic start to what promises to be an exciting and memorable TY year. Well done to all our students!

Our Student Ambassadors got the year off to a fantastic start with an action-packed team-building day at Carlingford Adventure Centre and SkyPark!

From kayaking to taking on the high ropes and soaring through the trees on the zip lines, there were plenty of laughs, challenges and unforgettable moments along the way.

It was a brilliant opportunity to build confidence, strengthen friendships and work together as a team, all while having great fun!

School Open – Monday 24th August

We’re getting ready to welcome everyone back!

The school will be open this Monday, 24th August, from 10am–2pm for Parents/Guardians and students.

All Students will collect their timetables and student journals, with 1st and 5th Year students also collecting their books.

Please remember to return your checklists and acceptance of policies forms already received. We’ll also be available to help Parents/Guardians with Compass access and support.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and getting ready for another great school year!

Get the New School Year Off to a Great Start!

As we prepare to welcome our students back to Coláiste Chú Chulainn, we are inviting ALL Parents/Guardians to our Information Evening on Monday 24th August at 7pm.

The evening is a great opportunity to hear from school management about some of the key routines and expectations for the year ahead, including attendance, communication, studies, uniform and more.

A strong start makes such a difference and working together as a school community helps us give every student the best opportunity to thrive throughout the year.

We look forward to seeing you on Monday evening and beginning another positive and successful school year together.

It was fantastic to welcome so many of our Leaving Certificate and LCA Class of 2026 back through the doors today and judging by all the smiles, there was plenty to celebrate!

A massive CONGRATULATIONS to every one of our students. We are so proud of you and everything you have achieved. All those early mornings, late nights, assignments, deadlines, exams have brought you to this moment.

Now it’s time for the next adventure university, apprenticeships, further education, work, travel or wherever life takes you.

Whatever comes next, go for it, enjoy it and remember that the doors of Coláiste Chú Chulainn will always be open to you.

Well done, Class of 2026, you did it!

Tomorrow is an important day for our students as they receive their Leaving Certificate results.

Whatever tomorrow brings, remember that your results are only one part of your journey. Be proud of how far you have come, believe in yourself and look forward with confidence to all the opportunities that lie ahead.

Results will be available through the Candidate Self Service Portal (CSSP) from 10:00 AM tomorrow, Friday 21 August.

The Management Team and your Yearhead will be in school from 11:00 AM to support you, answer your questions and assist in any way we can.
