Nestled on the western shores of Sheephaven Bay with its blue flag beaches and stunning scenery, Dunfanaghy Golf Club sits on the edge of the picturesque village of Dunfanaghy in the shadow of Muckish Mountain. Golf has been played on the seaside links of Dunfanaghy for over 100 years. It truly is Golf on the Wild Atlantic Way and well worth a visit!

🏆 THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY…

So close, but just not to be this time. 💙⛳

Our Dunfanaghy juniors fell just short in the Donegal Youth County Championship final, narrowly pipped at the post by a determined and defiant Strabane team.

A huge congratulations to Paul McGranaghan and his team on a fantastic win, and fair play to both teams for the great spirit and sportsmanship shown throughout all the matches. 👏

A special thank you to Ed Harvey for organising this competition year after year, and to Seamus Patton and Letterkenny Golf Club for hosting a fantastic final.

Thanks also to all the parents and supporters who have backed the boys throughout the campaign. Your support has been brilliant.

And finally, to our Dunfanaghy boys — hard luck today, but take pride in what you've achieved. You’ve represented the club brilliantly all season. This experience will only make you stronger.

🏆⛳ ALL ROADS LEAD TO LETTERKENNY THIS SUNDAY! ⛳🏆

The stage is set for the Donegal Youth Final, with Dunfanaghy GC taking on Strabane GC at Letterkenny Golf Club.

Our Under-18 team have battled their way through a tough campaign, overcoming Gweedore, Greencastle and 2025 champions Buncrana to reach the final. 👏

Strabane make a welcome return to the Donegal championship and have reached their first-ever final, defeating Ballyliffin and Letterkenny along the way.

Dunfanaghy have a proud history in the competition, with six titles over the past 20 years. Now, the boys have the chance to make it title number seven! 🏆

💚 A huge day for our players, their families, the club and everyone involved in junior golf at Dunfanaghy.
