Dungarvan Rugby Club is the only rugby club in West Waterford. Our senior team play in the Munster Junior 2 League. We always welcome new members and players.
We have a thriving minis section for 6-12 years old and teams for older age groups up to 18+. Dungarvan's first team play in Division 2 of the Munster Junior League. We have a very active youth academy with teams competing at Minis (6-12), U13, U14, U16 and U18. Many players from Dungarvan have represented Munster and Ireland at age grade level

Well done to Kenneth O Brien who lined out for Munster U18’s club v Leinster U18's clubs in Energia Park today. Leinster got off to a very strong start, scoring a couple of tries in the first 20 minutes, Munster made a big comeback in the second half and came in just short with a full time final score of 26-21..

Well done to Catriona Conroy Dungarvan RFC and Cora Miller Waterpark RFC who both started for the Munster U18 girls against Leinster today in the Interpro final at Mullingar RFC. It was a tough contested match with Leinster winning in the end 28 14. Both girls will be playing with the amalgamated U18 team of Dungarvan and Waterpark this year the future is very bright 🏉🏉.

Meet Your Local Heroes!
We are delighted to be hosting the Autism Friendly Summer Event at Dungarvan Rugby Club on Sunday, 6th September, in collaboration with Autism Friendly Dungarvan. The event will give children with autism and additional needs the opportunity to meet and become familiar with local everyday heroes, sporting heroes, emergency services and healthcare professionals in a relaxed, sensory friendly and welcoming environment. We are also delighted to have athletes who have received Special Olympics medals this year joining us on the day.
The event is now fully booked, and we are really looking forward to welcoming everyone to the club for what promises to be a very special afternoon. A quiet space will be available, along with family activities, allowing children to meet, explore, learn and connect at their own pace. We are delighted that Dungarvan Rugby Club can provide a welcoming space for this wonderful community initiative. 💙🏉
