🇨🇭🔥 IRONMAN 70.3 Switzerland – World Championship Slots! 🔥🇨🇭

What a day in Rapperswil-Jona for Scott, Dee, Kate and Joanne as they took on one of the most iconic and demanding courses on the IRONMAN 70.3 circuit. From the crystal-clear waters of the Obersee to a bike course packed with relentless climbing and spectacular Swiss scenery, this race is anything but easy. The challenge doesn't stop there, with a tough run featuring the famous "Stairway to Heaven" climb before the finish line.

A massive congratulations to all four athletes for conquering this beautiful but brutal course. Special recognition goes to Dee, Kate and Joanne, who all secured qualification for the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships in Nice! 🌍🏅 What an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work, consistency and determination they've shown throughout the winter and early season.

Switzerland delivered the views, the hills and the challenge — and our athletes rose to every bit of it. We can't wait to see Dee, Kate and Joanne representing the club, county and country on the world stage in Nice.

Best of luck to Aoife Nic taking on 70.3 Sardinia, while the dream team of Kate, Scott, Dee and Joanne are all set for 70.3 Switzerland.
They may have better weather than our gang taking on the Wicklow 100&200 but will they have better craic? OK, probably 😂

A fantastic day in West Cork at the Centra Schull Fastnet Triathlon for our Wicklow Tri Club athletes!

👏 Huge congratulations to Éadaoin, who delivered an outstanding performance to finish 1st in her age category and 6th female overall in a very competitive field.

💪 Well done also to Mark and Marie, who both took on the challenge and represented the club brilliantly on a tough and scenic course around the beautiful coastline.

From the swim to the bike and run, it was a great day of racing in one of Ireland’s most beautiful triathlon locations.

Congratulations to all three and enjoy the post-race celebrations! 🎉

We are deeply saddened to share news of the passing of Lastley Gray, former club member and beloved Dad of Alex. The club sends its deepest condolences to Alex and family.

Both were in Wicklow Triclub at the same time many years back, and at one stage they were both the youngest and oldest members in the club. May he rest in peace. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
