We have a bike shop in Bangalore and organize weekend rides around the city and tours to select destinations in India and across the globe. Our rides and tours are all off-beat exclusive itineraries in which you will experience the highs of cycling in exotic locations, soaking in local culture & cuisine and riding in the wilderness like never before! The Nandi most people know is the hill with the traffic jam on weekends. This ride goes the other way.

The route behind Nandi winds through forest roads quiet enough that you notice the insects before you notice the climb. A couple of lakes sit alongside the path, and the terrain rolls enough to keep you honest without grinding you down. Vineyards and village roads fill out the rest of it, and the whole thing wraps up in a few hours.

30 km (L1) or 50 km (L2), mixed surface, meeting point at Silver Oak Cafe near the Nandi base at 5:45 am.

Arkavathi Blues is coming up on Sunday, 11 October 2026. Join us for a ride on quiet back-country roads through villages and along forest fringes, with views of the river and reservoir on several stretches.

We meet at Backyard Camp by 6:00 am. Along the way, we’ll arrange a picnic breakfast at a spectacular location by the backwaters. If you’d like to stay the night before, accommodation at Backyard Camp is available on request.

L2: 40 km (moderate) | L3: 70 km (challenging)

The Nandi that most people don’t see.

The route runs through forest roads, vineyards and village lanes behind Nandi hills - quiet enough to hear the sounds of nature. There are stretches beside lakes, a climb that earns its descent (in the L2), and a pace that lets you look around. Early start from Silver Oak Cafe near the Nandi base, and you’re back before the day gets going.

25 Oct | Devanahalli Heritage Ride | Ride with storyteller and history buff Sriram Aravamudan.
14 Nov | Pedal in the Wild - Cauvery Trail | Ride the canal trails, visit the bird sanctuary. Those who don’t want to ride have a tour option too.
26 Nov | Hampi Bicycle Tour | A three-night tour of incredible Hampi - ride through ancient ruins and a network of canal trails.

Reservoir views and trails beside the water set the scene for Arkavathi Blues on Sunday, 11 October 2026. From Backyard Camp, we’ll ride towards the reservoir before heading towards the fringes of the surrounding forests. Expect quiet back roads through farming villages, with some dirt sections along the way.

There’s a picnic breakfast en route at a beautiful location by the backwaters. We’ve also got your back with guides, mechanics and a support vehicle through the ride. Choose the moderate 40 km route or the challenging 70 km option. If you’d like to arrive the evening before, a stay at Backyard Camp can be arranged on request.

The stretch of coastline between Gokarna, Kumta and Ankola has some of the most picturesque landscapes in India. Views of the Arabian Sea from clifftops, untouched beaches, the backwaters and estuaries of the Aghanashini river, and delightful coastal cuisine - everything you need for a multi-sensory experience you’ll remember for a long time. 🌊

The first ride puts you on 70 km of coastal Karnataka, including a barge crossing with your bicycle across the bay, and a route that runs through the Aghanashini estuary and its many fishing villages. 🚴

The second ride is a 45 km route heading north to Ankola, with stops at several pristine beaches along the way. 🏖️

The stay is away from the main town - which makes the early mornings worth waking up for. ☕
