Manish Meel, our engine at the back, won the Player of the Tournament award in the recently-concluded Rajasthan League Futsal Men’s 2025–26 💙💛
A standout performer throughout, Manish played a crucial role in guiding us to the final in our very first futsal campaign.
A part of ZFA since 2018… from the very first batch, the tall defender hails from Hanumangarh, Rajasthan 🌟 Born into a Rajasthan Police family, with constant support from his elder sister and early inspiration from his uncle, his journey began on local grounds at a very young age.
A scholarship holder from day one, his growth has been relentless here in Zawar. A natural leader, he has represented and captained ZFA across major competitions like Rajasthan State League, AIFF National Leagues, and I-League 3, consistently delivering on big stages.
Congratulations, Manish. Keep shining 💪⚽️

In our very first futsal campaign, he stood tall when it mattered most to help us finish runner-up.

Born in a farmer’s family, he’s been with us for 5 years now, making countless saves and showing relentless growth over the years.

Tournament Report | Rajasthan League Futsal Men’s 2025–26
Our Zinc Football Academy delivered a remarkable performance in our debut appearance at the Rajasthan League Futsal Men’s 2025–26, finishing as runner-up and marking our arrival in the futsal arena with authority 💙💛
ZFA team, a mixture of our U-18 and senior team players, topped Group A with 3️⃣ wins from 3️⃣ matches. The young boys edged past Jaipur Elite FC 3-2 in a nervy opener before finding their rhythm with an emphatic 8-2 win over Jaipur Futsal Club. They then produced a statement performance in their final group match, thrashing Rihan FA 17-0 to seal top spot in commanding fashion.
Carrying strong momentum into the knockout stage, ZFA faced Golazo Ranthambore FC in the semi-finals and delivered another dominant display, securing a 10–2 victory 🌟💪
In the final, ZFA took on hosts Ganganagar City FC in a high-intensity contest that lived up to expectations. We started brightly amidst the home support for the opposition, with Zawar’s Himesh Meena opening the scoring to give us an early advantage. However, the hosts responded to level the score by the end of regulation time, forcing the game into extra time.
The drama continued in extra time, with Jangminthang Haokip restoring our lead to make it 2-1. Ganganagar City FC once again fought back, equalising through a penalty after a handball decision. We had a golden opportunity to regain the lead from the penalty spot, but Karan Beniwal’s effort went off target.
With momentum swinging, the hosts capitalised and scored the decisive third goal late in extra time. Despite a spirited push in the closing moments, ZFA were unable to find the equaliser, and the match ended 3–2 in favour of the host.
While the final result did not go our way, our campaign was filled with positives. Manish Meel was awarded the ‘Best Player of the Tournament’, while goalkeeper Axay was recognised as the ‘Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament’, underlining the team’s overall excellence 🙏
To finish runners-up and claim two major individual honours in a debut futsal campaign is a significant achievement for our young ZFA side. The experience gained and performances delivered signal a bright future, with the team only set to grow stronger from here.

Matchday 6️⃣ Report | Rajasthan League Senior Women’s A-Division | ZFA 3️⃣-0️⃣ Royal FC
Our Zinc Football Academy girls’ team delivered a commanding performance to defeat Royal FC Jaipur 3-0 in the Rajasthan League Senior Women’s A-Division 2025–26, completing a league double after our 2-0 win in the reverse fixture earlier 💙💛
The early morning clash saw a slight delay in kick-off due to heavy overnight rain, leaving the pitch wet and challenging. Despite the conditions and a quick turnaround between matches, our ZFA team started aggressively, knowing the importance of securing all three points in our title push.
Our Zawar-based Academy nearly took the lead inside the opening minute when in-form Antra Dolui’s precise pass found Joha at the edge of the box, but the effort went wide. Moments later, Zawar’s local talent Geet also tried her luck from distance but couldn’t hit the target.
The breakthrough came in the 14th minute following sustained pressure. A well-worked attacking corner caused confusion inside the penalty area, and the loose ball fell kindly to Joha, who made no mistake this time to give us deserved 1-0 lead 🎯
ZFA continued to dominate possession and create chances but had to settle for a single-goal advantage at halftime, despite multiple opportunities to extend our lead.
The second half saw more of the same control from ZFA. In the 59th minute, centre-back Tamanna doubled the lead in spectacular fashion, striking a powerful free-kick from near the halfway line that left the goalkeeper with no chance 🚀
Just five minutes later, we put the result beyond doubt. Antra Dolui once again played a key role, threading a brilliant pass through the defence to Simran, who dribbled past defenders and calmly slotted the ball into the corner to make it 3-0.
Our girls continued to press and create opportunities, pinning Royal FC Jaipur deep inside their own half, with the opposition struggling to gain any attacking foothold.
With this result, ZFA now have five wins from six matches, taking their tally to 15 points with two matchdays remaining, keeping our title ambitions firmly on track 💪⚽️

Matchday 6️⃣ Preview | Rajasthan League Senior Women’s A-Division | ZFA 🆚 Royal FC Jaipur
Our young tigresses of Zinc Football Academy will face Royal FC tomorrow in an early morning clash amid tight turnaround, with kick-off scheduled for 7 AM ⏰
With less than 48 hours between fixtures, ZFA head into this match following a demanding run of games. The quick turnaround, coupled with the summer heat, is likely to see some rotation in the lineup as the team manages player workload and recovery.
After suffering a setback against Magan Singh Rajvi FA, ZFA’s young squad has responded impressively with back-to-back victories... 3–2 against Real Jaipur FC and 3–1 against Jaipur City FC, showing maturity beyong their age in this intense title race 💙💛
With 12 points from 5 matches, ZFA remain firmly in contention, with three crucial fixtures still to play. The equation is clear... three wins from the final three matches will secure the league title in our debut league campaign.
Our opponents Royal FC Jaipur were narrowly beaten 2-0 in the reverse fixture, where second-half goals from striker Mona and defender Savita Khalbeliya sealed the win for us. The team will look to replicate that performance in what promises to be another competitive encounter 💪
Our Zawar-based Academy will also have to cope with the absence of goalkeeper Pratigya, who picked up an injury in the match against Real Jaipur FC. As a result, Sonam will continue as the lone goalkeeper and will be expected to step up once again.
With the rest of the squad fit and focused on recovery, all eyes will be on how we manage the physical demands and maintain their momentum in this crucial stage of the competition ⏳⚽️
