There was a time when I wouldn’t get my periods for three months at a stretch…

Happy women's day to everyone. We are celebrating this day because there is still lot of awareness and work required on women's rights and status.
From the longest time I know- I have always stood for women strength, and women empowerment.
I come from a household - where I see my mother reading the newspaper while dad buying groceries and cutting vegetables.
I often see my dad sharing household duties after coming from work too.
It was never glorified. We never glorified dad doing household work because it is just as normal as my mother doing household duties.
This is what I hope the world reaches one day. That will be true women empowerment. And then we no longer would need to celebrate it as a day - being we would be celebrating it everyday.
Celebrate womanhood, nari Shakti ki jai🌻🌙
