Dagli oltre 30 anni d'esperienza di A.P.I. Italia nel settore dei laghi artificiali e dei trattamenti d'acqua biologici, nasce Piscine Biodesign. Un metodo di costruzione brevettato permette al classico concetto di piscina di trasformarsi in un'area ricettiva sagomata per assecondare le esigenze di balneazione e adattarsi quanto più possibile al contesto paesaggistico. Le piscine Biodesign sono costruite con materiali naturali, senza un grammo di cemento armato; anche i metodi di filtrazione e disinfezione sono all'insegna del minimo inquinamento. Le caratteristiche esclusive delle piscine naturali Biodesign sono le spiagge con bagnasciuga dove rilassarsi prendendo il sole, la possibilità di installare sedute, lettini sommersi e sistemi aeroterapici massaggianti senza però tralasciare le zone per il nuoto.

A dream stay just steps from the sea, in a 19th-century villa. An oasis of well-being on the last spur of the Livorno hills, surrounded by the salty scent of the sea breeze. enchants with an authentic corner of paradise immersed in the Tuscan landscape.

This Bio.design pool was born from the transformation of a traditional swimming pool: with a surface area of 55 m² and a depth of approximately 1.40 metres, it was completely redesigned with great care and attention to detail, giving new life to the entire space.

A small atoll nestled among the Tuscan hills and pine forests overlooking the sea. A spacious beach area with aerotherapy invites guests to stretch out under the sun, while the hydromassage seating offers moments of pure well-being.

Completing the project, a cascade gently flowing from a terracotta jug creates a charming water feature, adding a rustic touch that blends seamlessly into the Mediterranean landscape.

Perfection lies in the details. For this reason, the water tank was also redesigned, carefully finished with resin and transformed into a solarium: a space dedicated to relaxation, surrounded by the Mediterranean vegetation that embraces this magical place.

Questa piscina Bio.design rinasce dalla trasformazione di una piscina tradizionale di Villa Giulietta: con i suoi 55 m² e una profondità di circa 1,40 metri, è stata riprogettata con grande cura e attenzione ai dettagli, dando vita a uno spazio completamente nuovo.

Un piccolo atollo tra le colline e le pinete toscane che si stagliano sul mare. Un’ampia spiaggia con aeroterapia invita a distendersi sotto il sole, mentre le sedute idromassaggio regalano momenti di puro benessere.

A completare il progetto, una cascata che sgorga dolcemente da una brocca in terracotta crea un suggestivo gioco d’acqua e aggiunge un dettaglio rustico perfettamente integrato nel paesaggio mediterraneo.

La perfezione sta nei dettagli. Per questo è stata ridisegnata anche la cisterna dell’acqua, finemente resinata e trasformata in un solarium.

Waves and shores.

You don’t need a large space to enjoy the pleasure of water.

At in Cannigione, in the heart of Gallura, ICONIA finds its place on a panoramic terrace overlooking the Sardinian landscape, transforming a compact area into a space dedicated to well-being.

Its modular structure allows the minipool to adapt to the available space, combining comfort, design and functionality within just a few square metres. In this installation, the pool finishes blend seamlessly with the hotel’s architecture, while the water becomes the focal point of the terrace, to be enjoyed both during the day and in the evening.

A solution designed for outdoor spaces where a Bio.design pool might not easily fit, but where the experience of water is something you don’t want to give up.

Non serve avere grandi spazi per concedersi il piacere dell’acqua.

Al di Cannigione, nel cuore della Gallura, ICONIA trova spazio su una terrazza panoramica affacciata sul paesaggio sardo, trasformando una superficie contenuta in un vero angolo dedicato al benessere.

La sua struttura modulare permette di adattare la minipiscina allo spazio disponibile, integrando in pochi metri comfort, design e funzionalità. In questa installazione, le finiture della vasca dialogano con l’architettura dell’hotel, mentre l’acqua diventa protagonista della terrazza, da vivere di giorno ma anche la sera.

Una soluzione pensata per gli spazi outdoor dove una piscina Bio.design non troverebbe facilmente posto, ma in cui non si vuole rinunciare all’esperienza dell’acqua.

With a surface area of 35 m², this Bio.design pool takes shape within a green garden, creating a free-flowing profile with no rigid geometries, designed to offer different ways of experiencing the water.

The beach entry provides a gentle transition into the pool and gradually leads towards the deeper area, while the aerotherapy system and two integrated seats create dedicated spaces for relaxation and well-being.

The light-coloured finish highlights the natural texture of the quartz and enhances the different shades of the water. On the beach area, a large monolith breaks up the continuity of the surface, becoming a distinctive feature of the design.

The surrounding lawn extends right up to the edge of the pool, further emphasising its organic shape.

And finally, the beach area, with its gentle, gradual access, seems to have won everyone over!

Con una superficie di 35 m², questa Bio.design prende forma nel verde di un giardino, disegnando un profilo libero, senza geometrie rigide, pensato per accogliere diversi modi di vivere l’acqua.

La spiaggia d’ingresso introduce gradualmente alla vasca e prosegue verso la zona più profonda, mentre l’aeroterapia e le due sedute integrate trasformano alcuni punti della piscina in veri spazi dedicati al benessere e alla sosta.

Il rivestimento chiaro lascia emergere la matericità dei quarzi e amplifica le sfumature dell’acqua. Sulla spiaggetta, un grande monolite interrompe la continuità della superficie e diventa un elemento caratterizzante del progetto.

Il prato attorno, che arriva fino al bordo della vasca, mette ancora più in risalto la sua forma organica.

Infine, la spiaggia, con il suo accesso dolce e graduale, sembra avere conquistato proprio tutti!

Water, architecture and design come together in one unique project: a Bio.design beach pool.

In this garden, characterized by lush greenery and vegetation, the pool becomes the heart of the outdoor space.

Its soft, organic shapes create a natural continuity between water and nature.

The MyLago Gold finish gives the water bright, warm shades, while the Ticino expansion joints add natural contrasts, further enhancing the integration with the stone paving and surrounding vegetation.

Around the pool, relaxation areas, shaded spaces, flower beds and trees complete the project, transforming the garden into a true outdoor living space.

Acqua, architettura e design racchiusi in un unico progetto: la piscina naturale Bio.design.

In questo giardino, caratterizzato da una ricca presenza di verde e vegetazione, la piscina diventa il cuore dello spazio oudoor.
Le sue forme morbide e organiche creano un continuum tra acqua e natura.
Il rivestimento MyLago Gold dona luce e calde sfumature all’acqua, mentre i giunti di dilatazione Ticino aggiungono contrasti naturali, valorizzando ulteriormente l’integrazione con le pavimentazioni in pietra e la vegetazione circostante.

Intorno alla piscina, zone relax, aree ombreggiate, aiuole e alberature completano il progetto, trasformando il giardino in un vero e proprio spazio outdoor da vivere.

In Widnau, Switzerland, contemporary architectural lines and natural forms come together in the garden of this private residence.

With its 35 m², the Bio.design natural pool unfolds in soft, sinuous shapes, creating a striking contrast with the geometry of the house and its outdoor spaces. The MyLago Gold finish gives the water bright, natural tones, while the Verde Alpi expansion joints create deeper accents across the pool floor.

The gently sloping beach entry leads gradually into the water, making the pool an integral part of the outdoor space: a place to cool off, relax in the sun, or simply enjoy the garden from a different perspective.

In Torre de la Horadada, on Spain's Costa Blanca, the Bio.design Beach Pool at La Palapa Club, within El Alba Mediterranean Resort, reveals itself one step at a time.

From above, it resembles a lagoon with flowing, organic shapes. Up close, the bright My Lago finish gently leads into the water, while sunlight creates ever-changing reflections and every curve invites you to pause, unwind and simply enjoy the space.
