Saadh is the youngest MMA fighter in Sri Lanka and it’s safe to say he’s already he is best young MMA grapplers in the country. But what truly matters is the foundation: discipline, mat awareness, pressure control, humility, and consistency.

When kids start with Jiu-Jitsu, they develop real combat IQ early. That becomes the backbone for MMA success locally and overseas.

We’re proud to see his growth and excited for what’s ahead for Sri Lankan MMA.

The future is built on the mats — and he’s just getting started.

Huge congratulations to Shazeen Annam on successfully completing the MMA & K-1 Judge and Referee Course conducted by ISKA Sri Lanka, under international referee Bryan Miner.

Shazeen is already a National Muay Thai Judge & Referee and an active Sri Lankan born heavyweight grappling competitor with a 3-0-1 record. It’s great to see MMA referees with a real grappling background especially when Sri Lanka currently has only 2–3 legitimate referees such as with solid mat experience.

Most importantly, Shazeen is the only referee fluent in Sinhala, Tamil, and English, making him an invaluable asset for any promotion moving forward. The future looks strong 👊
