LPC athletes in action this weekend in Belgium 🇧🇪

Our athletes were competing in both para cycling and para table tennis across two events.

🚴‍♂️ In Heusden-Zolder, Carlos Neves and Paul Kremer (H4), as well as Amsal Redzepovic (T2), took part in the time trial of the Open Flemish Championship, covering 16 km on a demanding circuit. Solid performances and valuable race experience as they continue their preparation for upcoming international competitions.

🏓 In Profondeville, Roby Mangen (MS8) delivered a strong performance at the Challenge Dandoy, finishing in 5th place in a competitive field.

👏 Well done to all athletes for their commitment and performances!

🇱🇺🏓 ITTF World Para Future Costa Brava

Matteo Scuto, Philippe Hein and Roby Mangen represented Luxembourg at the ITTF World Para Future Costa Brava.

👏 Milestone for Matteo Scuto:
First-ever quarter-final qualification, secured with a 3–1 win against the world No.15.
He also faced top players ranked No.7 and No.13, gaining valuable international experience.

Philippe and Roby were eliminated in the group stage but competed against strong international opponents.

Luxembourg Paralympic Committee holds its 2026 Ordinary General Assembly

Yesterday, the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee (LPC) held its Ordinary General Assembly at the Rehazenter, in the presence of the Minister of Sport, Martine Hansen, and Michel Knepper, President of the COSL, alongside member organisations, athletes, partners and key stakeholders.

A new leadership team was elected, with Serge Schaul as President and Sidney Loes as Vice-President. The Board now consists of 11 members, including 6 newly elected members, marking an important step in the continued development of para sport in Luxembourg.🚀

The Assembly also confirmed the integration of three new member organisations (FLERA, FLJUDO, FSCL), further strengthening the LPC network and its commitment to inclusive sport. 💪

Special recognition was given to Marc Schreiner, appointed Honorary President, for his outstanding contribution over the past 36 years. Marie-Rose Meyer was also warmly thanked for her long-standing commitment to the LPC and Luxembourg sport.👏

🇧🇪 Para Cycling – Mettet

Our athletes competed the last weekend in Mettet at the Circuit Jules Tacheny, during an event organized by the Belgian Cycling Federation.

🚴‍♂️ Strong performance from Carlos Neves, showing great pace.
🚴‍♂️ Paul Kremer delivered a solid and consistent effort.
🚴‍♂️ Amsal Redzepovic showed good technical control and continues his progression.
