Making parasport safer for everyone. 🩵
On the occasion of Paralympic Day last Saturday, the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee (LPC) took an important step by signing the National Safeguarding in Sport Charter.
Our President, Serge Schaul, and Lauren Crisp, Head of Safeguarding at ALIS, signed the Charter, reaffirming our shared commitment to creating a safe, respectful and inclusive sporting environment for everyone.
Safeguarding is about more than preventing abuse. It means making sure every athlete feels safe, respected and heard. In parasport, this also means recognising individual needs, addressing potential barriers and ensuring that everyone can participate without fear of discrimination, harassment or inappropriate behaviour.
Every athlete deserves to enjoy sport in an environment where they feel protected, valued and supported.
