Whilst not leading the race in comfort and control from the Škoda Kodiaq, it sits in the backdrop roadside as a colour of high-paced cyclists make their way along the Ħaż-Żebbuġ Bypass circuit.

The Škoda Kodiaq is a premium SUV engineered for every sporting moment. Spacious, connected, and built for performance, it’s the perfect in-race drive solution for monitoring cyclists, and staying ahead of the action. 🚴‍♂️🏁

LETTER FROM THE RACE DIRECTOR 💌

It was my absolute honour to bring this event; the 2026 edition of the Ħaż-Żebbuġ Bypass Road Race to you this morning.

I thank the riders for your participation, the spectators for your support of this sport, the sponsors for making this event viable and the MCC committee, members and parents for being the workforce on the ground today.

I acknowledge that somethings didn’t goes as planned and how I imagined them in my head today, but I thank you all for your patience, adaptability and your support. I am already crazily jotting down everything I’ve learnt from today, planning to deliver an improved event for you next year. I welcome all feedback via private message, as I really value everyone’s perspective and ideas.

I must give a special mention to my fellow MCC Committee Members, who gave me the green light all those months ago to get cracking with organising this race. Your support and assistance today was invaluable, and I am truly grateful to work alongside a wonderful team.

I hope to see you all at the next races I’ve got in the works and see cycling in Malta continue to build.

All my love and appreciation,
Alexandra Madeley
Race Director
