Siġġiewi Rowing Club (VO/2036) needs a quotation for PURCHASING of a new RP3 rowing ergometer (model T with wobble seat), including delivery to Malta.

Equipment is to be delivered to the Siġġiewi Rowing Club gym located within Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi SGW 2822, Malta.

Bids are to be addressed to the “Siġġiewi Rowing Club” and sent to the following email: [email protected]

Deadline for submissions: Monday 28th September 2026, noon.

Further information may be requested by email to the same email address. Interested bidders are to submit their offers by the deadline indicated above.

The purchase will be made as part of the SIS 44/2026 “Building Stronger Individuals and Communities, Safely and Scientifically” project.

History is written black on white! 🇲🇹

A massive well done to Siggiewi Rowing Club rower Mark Schembri, who this week put classic Olympic-style rowing in Maltese sporting history.

For the first time ever, a Maltese rower wore the Malta national rowing colours and represented our country in a rowing race at a major multi-sport Games.

And what a way to do it: competing in the highly technical single sculls (1x), rowing alongside some of the world’s best rowers, including Olympic medallists.

A proud moment for Mark, for Malta Rowing Federation, and above all for Siġġiewi Rowing Club, . 🇲🇹🚣

The first ... but certainly not the last.

We thank Maltese Olympic Committee, Malta Rowing Federation and coach Dr Dario Cerasola from Club Canottieri Roggero di Lauria who assisted us in this beautiful and amazing journey.

Let's hope many more Maltese athletes join is in our journey. Contact Siggiewi Rowing Club to have at a go at rowing ... we take you places.

Siggiewi Rowing Club was proud to be represented by Eduardo Saraiva and Joseph N Grima at the 10th Edition of the Mille Remi in Sciû Mâ in Sestri Levante (GE), Italy, held in the last weekend of April 2026, ending 2nd in the open MC2x endurance race, bringing home a Silver.

This international participation was made possible through funding received from BeActive - SportMalta under the Travel Assistance Scheme 2026 (IP-2026-091), supporting Maltese athletes in gaining valuable competitive sporting experience in coastal rowing abroad.

We thank SportMalta for its continued support and look forward to more rowing and further growth in future international events.
