On 19 July, our president Jean Claude Dimech took part in the the 2026 Team Diabo Professional Division Congress took place at the PalaMare in Caorle, bringing together IDSF Teachers and Judges and officially opening the International Training Camp.
The Congress featured an outstanding programme of lectures presented by Dr. Peter Maxwell, Daniele Tondon, Paolo Bosco & Silvia Pitton, Stefan Green & Adriana Sigona, Veronika Haller, Saverio Loria & Zeudi Zanetti, Benedetto Ferruggia & Claudia Köhler, followed by the closing remarks from Dr. Davide Cacciari.
The lectures explored a wide range of topics, including continuous education, professional ethics, building successful dance schools, the evolution of Standard and Latin technique, and the future vision of the IDSF.
During the Congress, the Professional Division also introduced its new educational programme for Athletic Coaches specialised in DanceSport, developed in collaboration with the Team Diablo Research & Development Centre.

Last Sunday Malta was represtented under the ayspice of our club at the podium by our talented athletes Lorenzo Longobardi ilaria dho who placed 1st at the StarCup Lago Di Garda held last Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May.
1930 couples were registered representing 26 countries. Longobardi and Dho managed to qualify for the finals out 258 couples in the category Adult Rising Stars Latin
