We are deeply saddened by the passing of Alfred Bonello, known to many as "Il-Major," a lifelong supporter of Sliema. Alfred was a dedicated and loyal supporter who was always willing to help the club whenever needed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

May he rest in peace. 💙

To most people, this picture just shows a normal meeting room. But for our Social Media Team, this space was our creative studio for the entire season. 🎬

Now that the equipment has been dismantled, we want to extend a massive thank you to Interwetten for generously allowing us to call this room home. It has been a true roller coaster of a season, but the memories made and the lifelong friendships built within these four walls will never be forgotten.

🚀 Exciting News for Our Club!

We are thrilled to announce that in the coming days, the upgrading of our main sports facilities will begin, featuring a complete replacement of our artificial turf pitch!

This essential project is being realized through the vital support and collaboration of the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation led by Minister Dr Clifton Grima , alongside the Malta Football Association (MFA).

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to both the Ministry and the MFA for their continuous investment in local sports infrastructure and grassroots football. This upgrade will provide our players, youth academy, and the local community with a safer, state-of-the-art environment to develop their talents.

Next week, the current turf at the Tigné Complex will be removed as we begin the installation of a brand new playing surface. 💙

Anyone interested in taking part of the existing turf for personal use elsewhere is invited to contact us. The turf will be available free of charge on a first come, first served basis.

A Heartfelt Farewell to a True Club Legend: Noel Guy Turner

After six incredible years in his latest stint with us, the club announces today that Noel Guy Turner has decided to move on to pursue the next chapter of his career elsewhere.

Noel isn’t just a player; he is the definition of a "Clubman." Over the last six seasons, his leadership, work ethic, and unwavering commitment to the badge have set the standard for everyone at the club.

Whether on the pitch or in the dressing room, Noel has been a pillar of our success and a mentor to those around him.

While we are saddened to see him go, we fully respect Noel’s desire to seek a new professional challenge. He leaves us on the best of terms, and his legacy firmly secured.

We are sure that the club that will gain the services Noel will find a professional of the highest caliber, with a proven track record of leadership and loyalty. Definitely a major asset.
