Tigne Pitch Turf Update

The process of the re-laying of the synthetic turf in Tigne is now well underway. 🦺

Tomorrow (16th June) as part of the ongoing works at our facility, the existing artificial turf will be removed.

Members of the public who may be interested are welcome to collect and take any quantity of the turf free of charge from 10am - 3pm.

📍Collection can take place directly from the pitch area during the removal process.

We are delighted to announce Walter Arciola as the new President of Sliema Wanderers FC, alongside Andrea Zammit Tabona as Vice President and Alex Muscat as Club Secretary.

We also warmly welcome the newly appointed Committee as we embark on an exciting new chapter for our club.

With renewed ambition and a shared vision for the future, we look forward to building on our proud history and driving Sliema Wanderers FC forward.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Alfred Bonello, known to many as "Il-Major," a lifelong supporter of Sliema. Alfred was a dedicated and loyal supporter who was always willing to help the club whenever needed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

May he rest in peace. 💙
