Some are already calling him the next Roger Federer, but is that really fair?

Henry Bernet, from Switzerland, has been one of the most exciting young players around lately. He is only 17, but he already has a lot of game, and you can understand why people make the comparison.

He is Swiss, just like Roger. He has a one-handed backhand, just like Roger. And he has already won a junior Grand Slam, just like Roger.

Still, we have to be careful with labels like that. We have seen this story before with Grigor Dimitrov: being called the “next Federer” sounds great, but it also creates enormous pressure. These players have not proven themselves on the pro tour yet, and that kind of expectation can weigh heavily on them before their careers even really begin.

For now, maybe the best thing is simply to appreciate his tennis without putting all that pressure on his shoulders.
