Mount Ophir Trail 2025 was not an easy race — and it was never meant to be.

Across all categories, we recorded one of the highest DNF rates in our event’s history. Not because runners were weak, but because the mountain demanded everything:
• Steep and relentless climbs
• Technical, unforgiving trails
• Heat, humidity, and changing conditions
• Mental fatigue that tests even experienced runners

Mount Ophir does not reward shortcuts or ego.
It rewards preparation, patience, and respect.

We hear you.
Many runners shared feedback about the difficulty and technical nature of the trails. For Mount Ophir Trail 2026, we are making targeted adjustments to reduce excessive technical sections, improving flow and safety — without compromising the true spirit of Mount Ophir.

Every finisher earned their medal.

As we step into the 4th edition, the journey continues to grow stronger year by year. Each edition brings new stories, unforgettable moments, and personal victories for our runners. At the same time, we as organisers continue to learn, refine, and improve every aspect of the race — driven by feedback, experience, and our commitment to delivering a better event each year.

For the 2026 edition, we are pleased to welcome our Mount Ophir Trail 2025 runners back to the mountain. As a token of appreciation for your continued support, a special loyalty rate is exclusively offered to the Class of 2025.
