Alam holds steady as Smashers run down Warriors in exciting run chase

Central Smashers clinched an exciting five-wicket win over Western Warriors at the Kinrara Oval on Saturday to book a spot in the MCA T20 Super Series qualifier.

A century partnership between Shafiq Sharif and Dhivendran Mogan guided the Warriors' to 185 for seven in 20 overs before opening batsman Alam Muhammad Saif responded with an unbeaten 69 as the Smashers reached 187 for five with two balls to spare.
