This year’s Brabant Girls Cup is all about celebrating 14 years of unforgettable football moments. Under the theme Legendary 14, we honour the people and stories that have made this tournament so special – and that includes our amazing referees!

We are approaching the 14th edition of the Brabant Girls Cup. Over the years, we’ve seen many winners take the title of the Lunenburg Penalty Cup - but don’t be fooled, it’s no easy win. This challenge is where skill, nerves, and a lot if fun come together!

On the first day the tournament, players face an unusual task: aiming their penalties at actual washing machines. Yes, you read that right - washing machines! It takes real precision to hit the mark. Only one player per team will earn a spot in the final round.

The finals take place the next day on the main pitch, in front of an enthusiastic crowd. Regular penalties, real goalkeepers and serious pressure.

We’re not just marking our 14th edition - we’re celebrating the legendary stories, moments and people that make this tournament unforgettable. And the Lunenburg Penalty Cup is definitely one of them.

We're counting down to the 14th edition of the Brabant Girls Cup! Over the years, we've witnessed countless legendary moments — and here's one of them.

In this photo, we see Hans Driessen, the chairman of the BGC-committee, receiving the honorary title of ‘het Rood-Zwarte Hart’ — a special recognition for OJC volunteers who have made a big difference to the club. Hans has been involved with the Brabant Girls Cup since the very beginning, and women’s football in Rosmalen wouldn’t be where it is today without his dedication and passion.

This year’s theme is ‘Legendary 14’ — a celebration of everything that makes the Brabant Girls Cup so special. From the iconic number 14 worn by one of the Netherlands’ greatest footballers, to marking our very own 14th edition, it's all about honouring the legends who have shaped the tournament — just like Hans.
