Witherlea Taekwon-Do is a martial arts club run in collaboration with Witherlea School, offering FREE lessons for School students.

Witherlea Taekwon-Do operates out of the Witherlea School Hall and teaches ITF style Taekwon-Do and affiliated with World Wide Taekwon-Do under Grand Master Jamie Moore. The Witherlea club is supported by Legion Taekwon-Do who's been open for over 30 years. It is one of the first clubs to open in the South Island. Legion maintains it's goal of being a pillar of the community through low fees and ongoing education in local schools. Legion has seven other clubs in Marlborough including; 1st Legion, Mayfield, Picton, Havelock, Spring Creek, Tua Marina and Evolution. Witherlea is Legion's eighth club to open and is supported by all our clubs. This means from time to time we have other instructors and students visiting and supporting our trainings. And if you wish to visit one of our other clubs, you are most welcome!

Good morning TKD family! One of our students accidentally left his watch behind after training last night. When he went back to get it after training it was no longer there. It is identical to the watch in the image attached. If anyone accidentally picked the watch up, please PM us and we can arrange for it to be return to its rightful owner. Thanks! Mr Aaron.

It’s Mr Jack’s birthday 🎈 🎂
Which means everyone gets pushups to celebrate! Anyone who turns up to training on their actual birthday gets the gift of giving everyone the number of push ups as their age, either the number reversed or the number doubled, whichever is more!

In Mr Jacks case, he was turning 20, so we doubled it to give 40 pushups for everyone.

Happy Birthday Mr Jack Hogeboom :)

Got any questions for Mr Aaron Kenny???

🥋🎤 NEW TO LEGION: INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT!

We see our instructors teaching every week... but how well do we actually know them? 👀😂

We're starting a brand new Legion Instructor Spotlight series, where we're putting our instructors in the hot seat and letting our Legion members ask the questions!

Each round, our participating instructors go onto the wheel and one is chosen completely at random. 🎡

And the questions?

Anything goes! 🤣

Taekwon-Do, favourite food, funny stories, completely random questions... whatever you've always wanted to ask!

So we loaded up the wheel and spun for our very first Instructor Spotlight...

🥁🥁🥁

MR AARON K! 🎉🤣

Legion members, got a question for Aaron?

👇 Drop it in the comments
💬 Send us a private message
📧 Or email it through to the club

We'll put a selection of your questions to him for our very first Legion Instructor Spotlight.

We can't wait to see what you come up with! 🥋

Parents of Witherlea Taekwon-Do, we have a question for you! 🌟

Recently, I challenged all of our students to go home and do something nice for their parents—whether that's making their bed, helping with the dishes, or just lending an extra hand around the house.

Taekwon-Do is about character and respect just as much as it is about fitness and skill, so we want to see how they've been putting those values into action!

Have your children been helping out since the challenge started? Let us know in the comments below! We can't wait to see what they’ve been up to.
