With the club competition all finished its time to move into the Representative season. Congratualtions to the following players who have been selected for various regions to compete at the National Hockey Championship in Wellington next month.

A massive congratulations to the following players who have been selected to the Central Falcons U18 Camp in September.

36 male and 36 female players from the lower North Island were selected off their play at the U18 National Tournament in the last school Holdiays.

They will work hard at the camp to make the final 20 selected to represent the Falcons at the new U18 Futures Hockey League to be held in December this year against the other three Franchises.

And with that all of our teams have finished for the season after our Division 1 Ladies lost to College on Tuesday night in the elimination final.

Prelim finals yesterday, success for one and heart break for the other.

Our Division 2 Women put up a great fight but couldnt find the back of the net when they needed it to close the gap and fight for the elimination final on Tuesday night. A great season for them as they finish better than last year in 4th position.

The Division 1 Women made a game of it fighting right until the end against a determined Levin side eventually winning 5-4 and booking their place in the elimination final on Tuesday night vs College.

Congratulations to Division 1 Women’s Midfielder Leah Kent who played her 50th game for the club in a 5-4 Win over Levin in the qualifying semi final.
