*Stokes Valley Ashes 3rd XI*

*Team History*

The SV Ashes 3rd XI is a newly registered team making its debut this season in Senior 3.

While this is a new team, the squad brings together plenty of experience, talent and competitive cricket. Several players have previously played at Premier Reserve 2 level, giving the side a strong foundation as it begins its first season together.

*Captain – Sinu Jacob*

Sinu is an experienced leader and a reliable top-order batsman. As the previous captain of the Ashes T20 side, he led the team to a third-place finish and, in the following season, to the finals. He brings valuable leadership experience, composure and a strong understanding of the game to the new 3rd XI.

*Vice-Captain – Mammen K John*

Mammen is a talented all-rounder and an explosive batsman who can change a game quickly. Known around the local cricket scene for his powerful hitting, he brings plenty of energy and attacking ability to the team, along with his contribution with the ball.

*Team Strength*

This may be a new team, but it certainly isn’t short of experience or talent. The squad features players who have competed at higher grades, including Premier Reserve 2, alongside a strong group of talented and competitive cricketers.

The team has a good balance of experience, batting firepower, bowling options and all-round ability. With experienced players supporting an exciting group of talent, the Ashes 3rd XI is looking forward to establishing itself in Senior 3 and building a strong identity from its very first season.
