Clubs Vintage cups all ready for this year's winners

Our condolences go out to the Keys family on the passing of Barbara last week. Both Joe and Barbara were lifetime members of Matamata sharing many years and fun times on the court together.
Joe was much involved in the juniors as well. Barbara won the ladies single championship a record 12 times from 1966 to 1979.
During the Silver Jubilee celebration in 1982, over 80 members attended, also a mock court was held with Joe one of the offenders.
His story and sentence see below is worth repeating.

Club nights and FREE COACHING now start at 6:30 Monday nights so come early and learn some new skills.

Congratulations to all our TV Badminton winners ! What a great tournament it was ! The event saw close to 300 players over the 2 days . Thank you to all who participated.
