Before our Senior Raiders took the field and brought home the Grand Final, the next generation of Raiders were already out there doing us proud at Hinuera and Pohlen Park.

Seeing our juniors pulling on the green, enjoying their footy and representing the Raiders is what this club is all about. What started as an idea to bring rugby league back to Matamata is quickly becoming something much bigger.

From our youngest Raiders right through to our Senior Grand Final Champions, the pathway is starting to take shape.

Rugby league is on the rise in Matamata — and this is only the beginning.
