We had Valiant Pro Wrestling with special guests The Morning Shift on site, the United Cheer Competition crew were in full force and of course - an EPIC display of culture and talent from the 2026 Te Kiwa Nui Festival! 📣💃🌺 Not to mention multiple sporting and special events that serve our community. Kinda love our jobs NGL 🤷‍♀️

Stoked to have the New Zealand Secondary School Badminton Championships taking place from Sunday 30 August to Wednesday 2 September here at the Arena! 👉 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱.
👉 Following this, there is a large private event running from Friday 4 September to Sunday 6 September that will also impact parking.

🚨 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁! 🚨 Taking a moment here to celebrate event coordinator Shannon Spencer (who refused to have her photo taken for this post but weirdly has approved the use of THIS photo 🤷‍♀️) as she has just been announced as HEAD COACH for the Special Olympics New Zealand swim team travelling to Chile for the 2027 World Games!

We are so proud of you Shannon! Despite your generally belligerent attitude towards anything 'look at me' - we could not let the occasion pass without mention! We love how dedicated you are to Special-O, how much time you already spend serving in this community and speaking of time how you take 20 hours to get from one side of the office to the other. 😇

Go hard - we'll be cheering for you all! 🙌🙌🙌
