With our 2027 committee now in place, we're already busy working behind the scenes to make another fantastic season happen at Renwick Rugby Club!

There's plenty happening, including:

🏉 Tasman Senior 7s Competition – We're proud to be hosting this at Renwick on Saturday 14th November!

🏉 Renwick Rugby 10s Tournament – Planning is well underway for our tournament on 11th April 2027, and we're looking forward to welcoming teams from near and far!

🤝 Sponsorship for 2027 – We're starting to gather sponsorship for the upcoming season and look forward to working alongside our valued local businesses and supporters. If you're interested in supporting the club, we'd love to hear from you.

A huge thank you to our committee members for putting their hands up and volunteering their time to keep our great club moving forward.

🏉DATE CHANGE – RENWICK RUGBY 10s TOURNAMENT! 🏉

📣 NEW DATE: SUNDAY 11TH APRIL 2027!

We've made a small change to the date of our inaugural Renwick Rugby 10s Tournament!

With the school holidays kicking off, we've decided to move the tournament to Sunday 11th April to give our visiting teams a little more flexibility with travel and help make it easier for clubs from further afield to join us!

📅 Date: Sunday 11th April 2027
📍 Venue: Renwick Rugby Club

We're looking forward to welcoming rugby clubs from near and far for an awesome day of junior rugby, teamwork and fun!

Our friends at Central rugby club are hosting the Mitey Drive for 5 Community Event.

A chance to meet Sir John Kirwan and see the Bledisloe Cup as well as having some fun during the school holidays.

Participants 5-15 years old need to register for the fun skills session and to be in to win a trip to Auckland for the Bledisloe Test on October 10th .

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Adrian from TRS, a valued friend and major sponsor of Renwick Rugby Club.

Adrian’s generosity and support of our club over the years has meant so much more than simply sponsorship. His contribution has supported our players, our families and our wider rugby community, and we will always be incredibly grateful for the part he has played in our club.

Our heartfelt condolences go to Adrian’s wife Pam, his family, and all of his staff and workmates at TRS during this incredibly difficult time.

Pam and the TRS team, please know that we are thinking of you all and sending our love and support. 💚🤍

Thank you, Adrian, for everything you have done for Renwick Rugby Club. Your generosity, friendship and contribution to our club will not be forgotten.

It is with sadness in our hearts that we share this with you all.

On Friday the 18th September, Adrian Orchard, the founder and owner of TRS, passed away.

Adrian was the driving force behind TRS for just over 30 years, and the backbone of our company.

From humble beginnings as a qualified technician, Adrian, with support from his wife Pam, grew Tractor Repairs & Spares from a home-based business to a reputable company with 5 branches and 70 staff. The outcome of Adrian's goal to deliver top quality machinery, parts and service to the agricultural, horticultural & viticultural sector, combined with his generosity towards local events and people, will live in our minds and communities for many years to come.

We send our condolences to Adrian's family & friends as they navigate this difficult time.

Adrian dedicated much of his life to building TRS, and he will be greatly missed by employees, customers, partners, and the community.

Our team is working closely together to support one-another during this time, and to serve our customers as best we can - as we are sure Adrian would have wanted.

A service will be held at 10am, Monday 28th of September, at the Marlborough Convention Centre for those who wish to attend. Our TRS branches will be closed on this day in respect of Adrian.

We’re excited to announce the launch of the Renwick Rugby 10s Festival — a brand-new pre-season event that we hope will become a regular fixture on the rugby calendar!

🏉 Grades U9–U12

The idea is simple — bring rugby clubs together before the season kicks off for a great day of 10-a-side rugby, fun, competition and club spirit.

This will be the very first Renwick Rugby 10s Festival, and we’re looking forward to welcoming teams from near and far to Renwick for what should be an awesome day of junior rugby.
