Silverdale Rugby Club is excited to deliver our THIRD school holiday programme for 2026, designed to help young players build confidence, develop skills and grow their love for the game.
The programme will focus on grassroots rugby development, providing a fun and supportive environment where players can improve their core rugby skills, speed and agility while learning through game play.
Our experienced coaches will work with players to develop technique, game awareness and confidence on the field, helping them build strong rugby foundations while staying active during the school holidays.
With small group sizes and quality coaching, the workshops aim to support players of all abilities to learn, improve and enjoy rugby.

After what can only be described as a nail-biting quarter-final last weekend, which saw our Truffle Pigs come away with a hard-fought win, the team now faces Tukapa tomorrow in the semi-final.

Despite Tukapa hailing from New Plymouth, the match will be played at 2.45pm at Owen Delany Park in Taupō.

We wish the Truffle Pigs all the very best as they hit the road south. Bring home the win, boys! 🐗💚💛

This weekend’s U85 National Cup quarter-final sees the HSOB Light Bears travelling up from the South Island to take on our Truffle Pigs on home soil! 🏉

The action gets underway a little earlier than usual, with kick-off at 1.15pm.
