We have secured the lease on a good bit of flat land behind the Rugby fields at Rhodes Park, Ngati Maru Highway, Thames.
It is our ultimate goal to provide a top-class facility at this site, but this will take time and resources. To start with we will have a flat senior track, plus a pee wee track. As funds and time permit we will add jumps, berms, obstacles etc. First we need to obtain Resource Consent to shift dirt, this process is under way. As we are all volunteers and a not-for-profit organisation we would welcome and assistance you can offer.

Well we had an eventful but an awesome day at the same time. With riders turning up to support the schools and perfect weather, we couldn’t have asked for much more. We Would like to say a huge thank you to the Stanaway family and Leaches quarry’s for allowing us to use their land. Also a huge thank you to all the volunteers and TVMCC members that helped make the day happen, we couldn’t have done it without you guys.

Just an update on the last post, the hard section that we added is not very long, most of trail ride is on farm land suitable for family’s. Looks like the weather is going to be perfect.👌

Exciting news for those of you that like hard enduro we have added a loop for you. We have also added an extra B loop. We still have the main loop which is family friendly approximately 16km and p*ewee track at the car park.

Well the guys have been out working out where the track is going to go for the Waihi trail ride, there are some spectacular views around this farm. At this stage it’s all go hopefully the weather plays ball.
