Today marks the last weekend of junior rugby for the 2026 season, and for our Year 8 players… it’s the end of an era. It will be their last time pulling on a JAB jersey before they head off to begin their new journeys in High School rugby next season.

To our amazing Year 8s – thank you for everything you’ve brought to the SURF whānau over the years. Your commitment, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship have been a credit to our club, and it has been a privilege to watch you all grow both on and off the field. While we’re sad to see your junior chapter come to an end, we’re so excited to see where rugby takes you next. We wish each of you every success and can’t wait to see you back wearing the SURF colours with our high school teams next season!

Both our Stags and Wildcats are on the road for their final junior games.

Let’s get behind our junior surfers by sending plenty of positive vibes their way as they take the junior fields one last time. We know you’ll do us proud. Once a SURFER, always a SURFER. ❤️🤍💙
