A nice little article featuring Lance and Paige kindly printed by Central Fm. Great to see their achievements getting some well-deserved recognitionπ
For those who might have missed it, Paige was also interviewed on the Centralines Sports Show the previous week while she was away competing at the NZ Champs. What an awesome experience and fantastic exposure for our club.

Coach Appreciation Post
A huge thank you to Alonso Fdz for once again doing an outstanding job preparing our swimmers to compete at national meets over the past three months. Weβve had swimmers represent the club at DIV 2, NAGs, and most recently NZ Champs, and they have done so with pride and fantastic results.
For a small club, our swimmers continue to perform exceptionally well both regionally and nationally, and that certainly doesnβt happen by accident. Itβs a direct result of the tireless effort, dedication, and commitment Alonso puts into supporting our swimmers and helping them be their very best. Thank you for everything you do for our club.
Weβd also like to sincerely thank the parents who supported Alonso by taking on team manager roles at these events. Your time, effort, and support are truly appreciated and make a huge difference.

Wow Paige what a way to finish your NZ Champs campaign!
An incredibly exciting 17-18 YR 200m breaststroke final saw her take the win in a nail-biting finish and in new long course PB πββοΈπ₯
To top it off, Paige secured a bronze medal in her age group and finished 6th overall in New Zealand, an amazing achievement. Well done Paige πͺπ₯

NZ Champs β Day Five Update πββοΈ
Lance put together a strong swim in his 50m freestyle heat this morning, finishing close to his best long course time. Unfortunately, he missed out on progressing to the final. However, heβs not done yet, Lance will be back in the pool tonight as part of the NZ mixed S19 team for the 4x100m mixed medley relay, leading off with the 100m backstroke. πͺ
Paige also delivered a solid performance in her 200m breaststroke heat and will return tonight to compete in the 17β18 years final.
With it being the final day of competition, the fatigue is definitely setting in, so letβs get behind them as they give it everything theyβve got in the pool tonight! ππ₯
