🌧 Well we had a bit of a wild Saturday 29th Aug! 🌧 85mm+ rain Friday night - Sunday morning. Forecast got it right this time so it was good we canceled the riding the day before. Moving horses to higher ground in the rain isnt fun but they appreciated the dry hay.

Monday (Day1) was the first time both of our Japanese guests had ridden a horse, but by Day 5 (after about 8hrs of riding) they had learnt to walk, trot, canter and control their horse.
As well as learnt how to get their horse from the field, feed it, clean their hooves, take off the cover, put on the saddle and bridle and get on.
We are so proud of how far their balance and riding improved over a very short time.

❄️ Frosty winter mornings @ Horse Riding Warkworth
Frosty start to the day with 3°c at 8:30am 🥶 but " We make it work" 😅
Today was catching up on some farm chores; burning branches, fixing fences and a bit of fun grading the track in a footbath being towed behind a quad. Its not all riding ponies around here.
The "Top Track" aka "the high road" at its finest. Great views, great places to canter. Happy horses, happy clients 🐎 ❤️
