ποΈββοΈβ³ Where Golf Begins: Family, Bonding, and Memories
Every year, the JGFP Parent & Child Tournament serves as more than just a competitionβit is a reminder of the bond we hope to build and strengthen with our children through the game of golf.
From birdies to bogeys, every swing shared between parent and child tells a story. Beyond the scorecards and trophies, this event brings us back to the very first reason why many of us fell in love with golf: to spend meaningful time together, create lasting memories, and enjoy the game with the people we love most.
Whether it was a clutch putt, a wayward drive, or simply walking the fairways side by side, these are the moments that our children will remember long after the final scores are posted.
Congratulations to all our winners and participants for making this yearβs tournament another celebration of family and golf.

πβ³ A Moment We Will Never Forget β³π
As a child and as a parent, there are moments that stay with you foreverβmoments when everything changes, when history is made. β€οΈ
During the 3-day JPGT Tournament at Beverly Place Golf Club, Nathan entered the final round in 5th place, trailing several seasoned players after Day 2. The odds were against him, but determination can move mountains. πͺβ°οΈ
On the final day, Nathan battled through every shot. He turned in a solid front nine at 3-over, keeping himself within striking distance. π―
But the real magic happened on the back nine. β¨
π§οΈ As the rain poured relentlessly, Nathan refused to give in. Standing on the final hole, with a 15-foot birdie putt and everything on the line, he calmly rolled it into the center of the cup. β³π₯
π The crowd erupted. What seemed impossible just hours before became reality.
π That one putt propelled him all the way to 2nd place, an incredible podium finish and a performance that will be remembered for years to come.
π
A play of a lifetime.
π A lesson in perseverance.
β A reminder that belief and determination can take you further than anyone expects.
Congratulations, Nathan! πππ
Your future is bright, and we canβt wait to see where this journey takes you next. Keep chasing your dreams, one shot at a time. β³π

Not so long ago, back in September 2023 during the Mimosa Junior Open, it was the very first tournament BJGA joined outside of Baguio β the beginning of the revamped BJGA journey.
Rianne was only around 15 years old then, still a teenager, but already showing so much promise. They say thereβs no such thing as a perfectly straight shot in golf, but with Rianne, it always felt different. Every shot she hit looked like a rainbow in the sky β flying dead straight right onto the target line.
And now, 3 years later, she continues to make history once again, this time as a freshman at Duke University.
We are beyond proud of you, Ate Rianne. Your BJGA family will always be cheering for you every step of the way. πβ³
Duke freshman Rianne Malixi delivered a strong performance at the NCAA Championship, finishing third individually with a 9-under-par total of 279.
She posted rounds of 73, 69, 68, and 69, with her 72-hole score tied for the second-lowest in Duke history.
Malixi also made program history, becoming just the sixth Duke freshman to place in the top five of an NCAA Championship, joining elite names Phoebe Brinker, Virginia Elena Carta, Leona Maguire, Jennie Lee, and Candy Hannemann.
A standout debut season on the big stage for the Filipino golf star. β³π΅π
