📍Beginner Division
Players joining the Beginner Division must meet all of the following criteria:

Must have absolutely no prior varsity/professional background in any racket sport (including but not limited to tennis, badminton, table tennis, or similar sports).

Must NOT have won a Gold Medal or Championship title in any Beginner category tournament or in any higher division.

May have a maximum of two (2) podium finishes only, consisting of any combination of Silver or Bronze medals.

📍Novice Division
Players joining the Novice Division must have a maximum of three (3) podium finishes only in NOVICE Category, consisting of any combination of Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals obtained in pickleball tournaments.

Players must NOT have won any medal or achieved a podium finish in any higher category, including Low Intermediate, High Intermediate, Open, or equivalent divisions.

📍Partner Classification Rule

For team entries, both players shall compete in the division corresponding to the eligibility of the higher-rated or higher-classified partner.

A team may not participate in a lower division based solely on the eligibility of the lower-rated partner.

📍Racket Sports Background Policy

Players with significant racket sports experience are required to fully disclose their sporting background during registration.

The tournament committee reserves the right to reclassify participants to ensure fair and competitive play.

The following players may automatically be placed in the High Intermediate Division or higher, regardless of their DUPR rating:

• Current or former national tennis players
• Current or former varsity tennis players
• Class A or Open tennis players
• Professional athletes from any racket sport discipline

The decision of the tournament committee regarding player classification and division placement shall be final and binding.
