Inspiring the next generation on and off the mat through passion, leadership, and purpose. Geisler Taekwondo Center, INC. (DGTCI) was incorporated. Aside from managing Taekwondo training centers with emphasis on educating students the Olympian way, it also manufactures and supplies martial arts equipment, gears, and apparel. Currently, the DGTCI is a well-established Taekwondo Center with over 15 branches in the metro, which combines excellent student-instructor ratio with state of the art training facilities truly conducive to learning. Vision: In Team DG, we believe in the concept of “Olympism”. Inside the walls of our training centers, we make sure that Taekwondo is not just a sport but a way of life and we do this by blending sports, culture, education and international cooperation. Mission: Team DG ensures that the lessons taught inside the gym will be lessons that don’t only apply on the mat but in the outside world as well. Through the five tenets of Taekwondo, we wholeheartedly commit to teach these values and what they stand for to the next generation. PHILIPPINE TAEKWONDO HAS A PROUD ASIAN GAMES LEGACY 🇵🇭🥋

Through the years, Filipino jins have carried the Philippine flag onto the Asian Games podium, earning silver and bronze medals against some of the strongest Taekwondo nations in the world.

Among the silver medalists are Robert “Bobby” Vargas, who won silver at the 1994 Hiroshima Asian Games in Men’s Featherweight −64 kg, and Donald “Donnie” Geisler III, who followed with silver at the 1998 Bangkok Asian Games in the same −64 kg division.

Tshomlee Go built an outstanding Asian Games record of his own, earning bronze in 2002 Busan, silver in 2006 Doha, and another bronze in 2010 Guangzhou.

Other Filipino medalists through the years include Kirstie Elaine Alora, a bronze medalist in both 2010 and 2014; Samuel Morrison, Levita Ronna Ilao, Mary Anjelay Pelaez, and Benjamin Keith Sembrano, who contributed bronze medals at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games; and Pauline Louise Lopez together with the Philippine men’s and women’s poomsae teams, who reached the podium in 2018 Jakarta-Palembang.

The tradition continued at Hangzhou, where Patrick King Perez earned bronze in Men’s Individual Poomsae.

And now, at the ongoing 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, the next generation has added to that history. Juliana Mykhail Candelaria captured silver in Women’s Individual Poomsae, while Jeus Gabriel Derick Yape secured bronze in Men’s Individual Poomsae.

As the Taekwondo competition continues, we wish the rest of Team Philippines the very best.

May they compete with courage, composure, discipline, and pride as they carry our national colors and continue the pursuit of an Asian Games Taekwondo gold medal for the Philippines.

Lord, thank You for loving us first.

Teach us to show that love through patience, kindness, respect, forgiveness, and care for the people around us.

Remind us that real strength is not only seen in what we can do, but also in how we treat others, especially the people who support us quietly every day.

Bless our families, coaches, teammates, friends, and those who care for us behind the scenes. Help us never take their love and sacrifices for granted.

May the love we receive from You flow through us in the way we speak, serve, encourage, and live.

Coach Juan Miguel Moreno is coming to the Philippines! A former USA National Team coach and silver medalist in the 1988 and 1992 Taekwondo demonstration events, he will share his knowledge and international experience alongside Master Donnie Geisler.

This is a special opportunity to sharpen your skills, build confidence, and learn from coaches who have competed at the highest level.
