GIRLS SNOW SPORTS CAMP 🏂

For the 1st time in the history of the Merged Districts (formerly FATA), women from Kurram, Waziristan, Orakzai, Khyber, Bajaur, and Mohmand have been trained in skiing and snowboarding.

When it comes to representation in adventure sports, we rarely see women from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the merged districts.

This time Samar Camp in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports Merged Areas and Malam Jabba Ski Resort set out with a clear mission: to empower our sisters from Merged Districts through snow sports.

Our goal is to nurture future athletes, instructors, and ambassadors from the merged districts.

Special thanks to Mr. Taj Muhammad (Advisor Sports KP), Mr Tashfeen Haider (DG sports), Mr. Umar Khan (Director Sports Merged Areas) and Mr Martin (GM Malamjabba Ski Resort) for their support and guidance for the camp.

Samar Camp with the support of Directorate of Sports Merged Areas conducted a 'Girls Snow Sports Camp' especially designed for the women of merged districts (Kurram, Orakzai, Khyber, Bajaur, Mohmand, Waziristan).

A fully funded three day camp aimed to empower the girls through sports like skiing & snowboarding; so that they transform into athletes, instructors & future leaders.

Gratitude to Malamjabba Ski Resort for facilitating the entire process & for providing the best learning environment for our girls.
