Did you know that IRONMAN Kalmar and IRONMAN 70.3 Jönköping are kicked off by the Småland Karoliner?🇸🇪

It’s a journey into Swedish history. Dressed in authentic 17th- and 18th-century military uniforms, the Småland Karoliner recreate the traditions of the royal regiments of Kalmar and Jönköping. Their muskets and cannons are loaded and fired according to commands from a 300-year-old drill manual, creating a powerful and unforgettable atmosphere as the race gets underway.

It’s one of the many unique traditions that makes racing in Kalmar and Jönköping unlike anywhere else in the world. 🌟🏊🚴🏃
