Some ups and downs, but so happy to end the weekend and the season 2026 on top. Fastest lap time of weekend 🚀 and win in the last race.🥇🥳

🏁 RACE 1 at Grande Finale in Formula Nordic and Mantorp Park brought some challenges. Started from P2 after being 19 thousand of a second from pole. Lost a position at the launch, but I could quickly recover in the first corners. I lost some to the leader and started to work my way closer. After 5 laps I was side by side with the leader to pass, but got pushed off the track 😔 and ended out in the gras with no damages on the car.
Luckily I managed to get the car back on the track and started from the very back working all the way back up to P4 before checker flag with the fastest lap of the race and overall this weekend.🚀 I got a penalty for the incident that pushed me down to P8, even if I was not the one causing it.

Mantorp Park P1 in the official practice today and P2 in the qualifying, just 19 thousands of a second from Pole.

2 races tomorrow, 09.00 and 11.55 🇸🇪
Starting P2 in Race 1 and P5 in Race 2, with reversed grid of top 6.

Final för Formula Nordic på Mantorp Park – nu skall JSM-medaljerna fördelas

Det är dags för årets sjätte och sista tävlingshelg och det är Mantorp Grande Finale som står för dörren. Hampus Varis är redan klar JSM-mästare, men vem skall ta de övriga medaljerna?
Fredrik Lindholm ligger just nu på silverplats med 170 poäng. Robin Hafström är trea på 147 poäng, men han kommer inte till start i finalen. Vera Jurland har 136 poäng och Vincent Kraft 133 poäng, och med 55 poäng kvar att köra om är mycket fortfarande öppet. På lördag vet vi!

Tolv förare kommer till start i finalen, varav en debutant. Totalt har därmed 14 förare tävlat i Formula Nordic under året.
Om vi tittar lite på hur det har gått för några förare som har kört Formula Nordic tidigare år hittar vi bland andra William Siverholm, som i år har vunnit SM i Porsche Carrera Cup. Flerfaldige mästaren Lukas Sundahl började också sin karriär i Formula Nordic. Albin Karlsson vann Valeryd Legends Cup för andra året i rad, medan Joannis Matentzoglou kom trea och samtidigt blev bästa Rookie.

Vi har dessutom ett gäng förare som fortsatt att tävla utomlands, som till exempel Melvin Kalousdian, Enzo Hallman, Viktor Andersson, Linus Lundqvist, Oscar Pedersen, Emma Wigroth, Jonathan Engström, William Karlsson, Mille Johansson, Flame Airikkala och bröderna Linus och Joel Granfors, för att nämna några …
