⚠️ Service update – Shoot’n Score It

We have experienced some disruptions to Shoot’n Score It this morning. These were all caused by third-party applications generating excessive traffic and putting significant load on SSI services.

We are actively identifying and blocking applications that misuse our services and are reaching out to the developers behind them. Unfortunately, in some cases, applications appear to be operating through SSI accounts with invalid or non-responsive contact information, making this more difficult.

Our priority is to keep SSI stable and available for everyone. We will therefore be spending additional development time on monitoring, protection and API safeguards — time we would much rather spend building new features for the community.

🚀 You asked for a simpler way to run fun matches — now it’s here! You can now create a Generic Event and choose the scoring format that fits your match:

✅ Points only
✅ X + Points (X = bulls eye, inner-10, ...)
✅ Sum of Hit Factors
✅ Time only

Getting started is easy:
Create Other Event → Create Generic Event, then simply select your preferred scoring method.

Everything else works just like before—registrations, stage creation, results, and more.

We’re starting with the most common options, but if you need additional divisions or scoring features, we’d love to hear from you!

Now no need to pay your Premium Event Fees separately for matches. You can now offset and pay the final premium fee from your available funds for the match within SSI. So create a match and associate with your Club, start using all premium features and handle registration fees etc. When you wish to complete the match simply pay by offsetting the fee from your funds, this is then deducted before the funds are paid out and forwarded to you.

We experienced some performance issues this afternoon (1500-1700 CET) due to a few third-party apps using our GraphQL API very inefficiently.

We’re actively working with those partners and helping them avoid this going forward and also implementing fixes as we speak.

Our latest iOS and Android release (ver 1.4.0) now fully supports the newest firmware for all Shooters Global timers. Connecting is easier and more secure than ever — simply confirm the 6-digit PIN code both in the app and on your timer when pairing.

Having trouble connecting? If your SG timer was previously paired with your device, make sure to remove (unpair) it from your Bluetooth settings before reconnecting through the app.
