What an incredible start to the Celestialkarneval 2026! It’s been fantastic to see so many karneval friends. We’ve had the opening ceremony, the premiere of rides and attractions, and music filling Lundagård ✨We can’t wait to continue the weekend with you!

You find all of the information on our website. Lundakarnevalen is a carnival for everyone! Here’s all the information you need to know about the accessibility adaptations we offer. If you need help during the carnival days, there will always be people on site wearing pink vests who can assist you! Don’t hesitate to talk to us ⭐️

Traveling to the Lundakarneval 2026

During the carnival days, there will be a lot of people on the move and finding a parking space can be difficult. Additionally, Lund will be closed off to motor traffic during the 2026 Lundacarnival. To make your journey as smooth as possible, we strongly recommend walking, cycling, or using public transport.
Here are the best ways to get here:

Walk or cycle
If you have the opportunity, going on foot or by bike is by far the easiest option. This way, you avoid both traffic jams and searching for a parking spot.

Train and bus
Plan your journey: Visit skanetrafiken.se or download the Skånetrafiken app to check departures, schedules, and find the route and ticket that best suits you.

Close to the entrance: Lund Central Station is located just a 5-minute walk from the nearest carnival entrance. It is therefore an excellent hub for those planning to travel to Lund from other cities.

Celestialkarnevalens egna valuta - Karnedaler! 💵

Karnedaler används för att komma in i alla tombolabodar och tältnöjen. Du kan växla in dina svenska kronor mot karnedaler i entrébodarna, alternativt hos någon av tombolabodarna eller töljtnöjena direkt. Det sägs även att dessa är ett gammalt samlarobjekt - så håll hårt i dem! Karndaler is king! 💰

I övrigt kommer karnevalen vara helt kontantfri och det är endast kortbetalning som gäller.

Celestialkarnevalen’s very own currency – Karnedaler! 💵

Karnedaler are used to enter all tombola booths and amusement tents. You can exchange your Swedish kronor for Karnedaler at the entrance booths, or directly at any of the tombola booths or tent attractions. Karnedaler is king! 💰

Apart from this, the Carnival will be completely cash-free – card payment only applies throughout the area.
