Pre-order now: SCORN - Cruel World 12” EP 🔥
We are excited to announce the official vinyl release of the debut EP “Cruel World” by the new European crossover project SCORN, founded by members of DISAVOW and DREGS.
Moving away from the previous projects’ punk influences, instead meshing more thrashy riffs with a hardcore mindset, SCORN draws inspiration from bands like Mindforce, Living in Fear and Forced Neglect.
Cruel World is a six-track declaration of intent - packed with raw thrash energy, heavy hardcore and a clear signal of more to come. Lyrically it presents a visceral and unflinching look at modern existence - its disillusionment, environmental collapse, mass manipulation, and the search for individual meaning amid societal decay. It’s a work of catharsis and defiance, pairing apocalyptic imagery with deeply personal undertones.
Release date: October 9, 2026.
Released by Monument & friends in Ixiol
Recorded and mixed by Eli Youth and mastered by Ulf Blomberg of HoboRec.
