For Changi Golf Club, the conversation is especially relevant. With our lease running until 2040, CGC will be among the few golf clubs still standing beyond 2035, as Singapore’s golfing landscape continues to shrink.

It is a reminder that the years ahead are not just about preserving what we have, but making the most of them , staying relevant, engaging the next generation of golfers and continuing to build a vibrant golfing community.

At the same time, we want to hold on to what makes Changi special: our heritage, accessibility, affordability and strong sense of community.

Congratulations to Edward How and Sushminder Singh on their outstanding achievements during today’s September Medal!

Edward recorded a sensational hole-in-one on Hole 13, his 3rd HIO at CGC. Sushminder also produced an excellent eagle on Hole 17 during today’s medal.

As a result, the $1,704 Medal Pot of Gold will be shared between Edward and Sushminder, with each receiving $852.

🇸🇬 A Truly Special National Day at Changi Golf Club 🇸🇬

There was something especially heartwarming about seeing Changi Golf Club come alive in red and white as our members and friends gathered to celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday together.

We were honoured to welcome Ms Valerie Lee 李乃怡, Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris–Changi GRC and representative for the Changi division, to open our celebration. Ms Lee spent time meeting and taking photographs with our participants and was also given a tour of our clubhouse and golf course.

Our fully subscribed game began on a sweet note, with ice cream treats before tee-off and wonderful goodie bags and swags from Standard Chartered Bank. Blessed with beautiful weather, everyone enjoyed a great day of golf amid plenty of laughter, camaraderie and National Day spirit.

As evening fell, the celebrations continued over a sumptuous dinner. One of the most meaningful moments of the night was when everyone stood together to sing the National Anthem with gusto and recite the National Pledge, a simple but powerful reminder of the home we share and how far Singapore has come.

The rest of the evening was filled with games, lucky draws, tournament prizes and, most importantly, the warmth and friendship that make CGC feel like home.
