⛵ June School Holidays: A Month Well Sailed! 🌊⛵💙

This June school holiday, Changi Sailing Club was filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable experiences as sailors of all ages took part in a variety of meaningful activities.
🌟 Learn to Sail Program – Welcoming new sailors to discover the joy of sailing and build confidence on the water.
❤️ Giving Back to the Community – We were proud to support our charity sailing initiative, 10 participants from Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home. Creating memorable experiences and sharing the excitement of sailing with our youth club sailors. A heartfelt thank you to our ILCA sailors: Reyes Tan Jit Eng, Caleb Cao Zhixuan, Rupert Chang, Amandine Zoe Pitsilis and Sayawaki-Kogut Leopoldo for volunteering and making time to skipper our Pacer, sharing their sailing experiences and knowledge to our guests. Your passion and support continue to inspire the next generation of sailors.
🏆 Advanced Racing Clinic – 12 dedicated young racers from different sailing clubs gathered to sharpened their racing techniques, boat handling, and tactical skills, a first for the club to bring in a world class Optimist Coach, Somkiat, pushed these young racers to prepare them in their next national and international events.
🏅 Our competitive sailors both from Optimist and ILCA Squadrons also represented CSC with determination at the Temasek Regatta last June 20-21, putting their training into action and gaining valuable racing experience.
A huge thank you to all our participants, parents, coaches, volunteers, and supporters for making this holiday such a success. Your enthusiasm and commitment continue to make our sailing community stronger.
As the June school holidays come to an end, the journey doesn't stop here. We can't wait to welcome Summer Holiday Break! A big congratulations to all 12 sailors who took part in our recent Racing Clinic! Conducted by a world class Optimist Coach, Somkiat.
From refining race starts and boat handling to developing tactical decision-making on the water, every participant showed determination and strong desire to continued growth as racers.
