Do you remember this player who started his career in 1979 at ACB Lagos, then played for New Nigeria Bank in his native Nigeria before moving to Stade d'Abidjan and Africa Sports in Ivory Coast, Lokeren, Anderlecht, RWDM in Belgium, Strasbourg in France, CCV Hydra and Sacramento Scorpions in the US and finally retired in 1998 after playing for Perlis in Malaysia?

He had 64 caps with the Nigerian national team, making his debut in 1981. He played in the 1982, 1984, 1988, and 1994 African Cup of Nations and the 1994 World Cup.

He won the 1994 African Cup of Nations as the captain. In his club career, he won the West African Club Championships in 1983 and 1984 with New Nigeria Bank, Coupe Houphoet Boigny with Stade d'Abidjan in 1985, Côte d'Ivoire Premier Division, Côte d'Ivoire Coupe, West African Club Championship and Coupe Houphoet Boigny in 1986 with Africa Sports, Belgian First Division in 1986-87, Belgian Supercup in 1987, Belgian Cup in 1988-89 and 1989-90 and the Belgian First Division again in 1990–91 with Anderlecht.

As a manager, he managed the Nigerian national team to win the 2013 African Cup of Nations. He unfortunately passed on in 2016 due to a heart attack.

We go a lot closer to home for this week's Remember Me. This player was born in Balikpapan, Indonesia. He made his senior debut with PKT Bontang in 1994 after spending 1993 in Italy with Sampdoria's Primavera team.

He played for Pelita Jaya in 1997 and PSM Makassar in 1999 and won the Liga Indonesia Premier Division in 1999-00, he was named the league's Best Player that season and was runners-up in 2001. He then played for PSPS Pekanbaru and Persiba Balikpapan. In 2005, he joined Persema Malang and was runners-up in the 2008-09 Liga Indonesia Premier Division. In 2012, he joined Perseba Bangkalan, winning the Liga Indonesia Third Division in 2013. He went on to play for Mitra Kukar, Gresik United and a second spell at Persiba Balikpapan before retiring.

He made his debut for Indonesia in 1995. He won the SEA Games silver medal in 1997, finished 3rd in the 1998 AFF Championships, won the SEA Games bronze medal in 1999 and was runners-up in the 2000 AFF Championships. He also played in the 1996 AFF Championships.
