Have you ever dreamed of a dive trip that’s so much more than just diving? We’ve just returned from an unforgettable adventure in Gili Trawangan with our amazing hosts at . Not only did we experience exceptional underwater moments—crystal-clear waters teeming with vibrant marine life—but we also witnessed something truly heartwarming on land.

Tori and Jo introduced us to their incredible horse rescue project, , where they rehabilitated abandoned and injured horses. We were fortunate enough to help rescue a seriously wounded horse from Lombok and see firsthand the dedication and compassion that go into nursing these beautiful animals back to health.

This eye-opening trip inspired us at The Dive Company to create a whole new kind of diving experience—one that combines the thrill of exploring the ocean depths with meaningful hands-on opportunities to help these horses in need. We’re planning an upcoming trip where you can dive by day and make a difference on land by contributing to the horse care and rescue efforts.

This past weekend, Pulau Hantu reminded us of a simple truth: great dives aren’t just about what you see but who you share them with. Despite challenging visibility, our dive crew made every moment underwater count.

Congratulations to our three newly certified Open Water Divers! Under the expert guidance of our instructor Benoit, they displayed determination and confidence, proving that the underwater world is always worth exploring, no matter the conditions.

To our four leisure divers, thank you for bringing your enthusiasm and positive vibes. You made every dive an adventure and reminded us why diving is as much about connection as it is about exploration.

Last weekend, my brother, my niece, and one other amazing new diver officially became Open Water Divers. Watching them conquer the underwater world (and a few pre-dive jitters) was equal parts exciting and humbling.

It’s not every day you get to see the future of diving take shape—especially when it’s family! They might be new to diving, but with a few more dives, they’ll probably be outpacing me in no time (not that I’m worried… yet).
