From Gary: This is one guest I absolutely must mention — Luther Seet. ❤️

Why? Because he was one of the reasons I stayed strongly on my journey in Street Latin.

Back in 2001, when I was a brand new dancer, I saw Luther dancing Salsa at the old Salsa club Xenbar. My first thought was: *Who is this guy? His dancing is SO COOL!*

I was completely attracted by his style, musicality, groove, and that effortless coolness on the dance floor. I remember telling myself, *One day, I want to dance like that too — cool, suave, and completely at home on the dance floor.*

As a beginner, it is so important to have people who inspire you, push you to work harder, and show you what is possible. Luther was that person for me, and over the years, he has inspired countless dancers through his journey.

What I admire even more is that despite being one of the pioneers and a dancer many look up to, he has remained incredibly humble.

A simple example: Every time I tried to invite him as a special guest for my events, he would politely decline and say:
*"When I buy a ticket to come, that’s real support what."*

That kind of humility, class, and attitude is something I deeply respect. It feels increasingly rare these days, and it is exactly why Luther remains a true role model to so many of us who are still dancing today.

I am also so happy to see his successful career, and even more importantly, the beautiful family he has built with his fellow Salsera, Adeline.

Guys and girls, come join us this Sunday! One of the best reasons to be there is to share a dance with this lovely duo. ❤️
