🌊✨ Royal Varuna Yacht Club was truly delighted to welcome the Rotary Club of Bangkok South - Kid's Day Out on 31 March 2026!

This meaningful initiative, supported by Rotary Club of Bangkok South, brought together children for a joyful day filled with singing, dancing, games, and laughter. Activities took place across the Club, including the swimming pool area and by the seaside, creating a lively and memorable atmosphere.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the kind sponsors whose generosity, whether through snacks, activities, or other thoughtful contributions, made the day even more special for the children.

A Royal Sailing Showcase at the 33rd SEA Games – Thailand 2025

Thailand delivered a spectacular sailing showcase at the 33rd SEA Games, with world-class conditions, strong regional participation, and outstanding performances across multiple classes.

The SSL 47 class produced one of the most historic moments of the Games. Team Thailand claimed a commanding victory in truly royal fashion, with Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana racing on board the Thai SSL 47. Her Majesty’s participation marked a powerful moment in international sailing, highlighting Thailand’s deep commitment to sport, teamwork, and national pride. The win stands as a defining ROYAL success for Thailand on the SEA Games stage.

Royal Varuna Yacht Club sailors also delivered exceptional performances. Darwin H. sailed to Gold in the ILCA 4 (Men), while Prin S. matched the achievement with Gold in the ILCA 4 (Women)—a remarkable double success that underscores the strength of RVYC’s athlete development and competitive excellence.

Behind the scenes, the event’s success was equally driven by outstanding technical delivery. Royal Varuna Yacht Club played a key role in supporting the SEA Games sailing program, providing technical support for the SSL 47 fleet, including mark setting and race management. RVYC also led race management for the iQFOiL and Techno classes, under the leadership of Khun Oat, Sailing Director at Royal Varuna Yacht Club, whose expertise ensured racing of the highest international standard.

With elite performances on the water, flawless race operations, and a truly royal presence, the SEA Games 2025 sailing events will be remembered as a proud milestone for Thai sailing and a celebration of excellence at every level.
