Not the outcome we had hoped for, but both teams worked hard and never gave up.

The 4R hit the track with the new XR1.2 and showed plenty of speed right away. Unfortunately, a brake bracket spun and snapped off a fitting. While everyone was working hard to repair it, we also discovered a broken wire going to the starter. We got everything back together, but missed time trials, putting us behind the eight ball.

We started eighth in the third heat and drove up to fifth, earning the 15th starting spot in the feature. Our troubles continued on lap 10 when the motor got hot, forcing us to pull off and leaving us with a 21st-place finish.

The 25J battled a very tight race car all night, and the crew kept working and making adjustments. After a tough qualifying effort, he started eighth in the first heat. He began moving forward but ultimately finished eighth.

The team continued making changes and, after a lot of hard work, finally got the car freed up for the feature. Starting 21st, the 25J spun and eventually pulled off after the leaders caught him, finishing 20th.

It was a frustrating night, but both cars showed promise, and our crews worked their tails off from start to finish. We’ll regroup, learn from it, and come back stronger. Thank you to our sponsors, crews, families, and fans for continuing to support us! 🏁
