Miss Lelsey’s Monday combo & Miss Sky’s lyrical combo really got into the dress up spirit!!

Hey Dance Fam!

This upcoming week is Dress-Up Week at dance! Students are invited to wear their Halloween costumes or old dance costumes to all classes.

General Guidelines:
- Undergarments: Dancers wearing dresses or skirts must wear a leotard, leggings, or shorts underneath.
- Movement & Safety: Please ensure costumes allow for full movement so dancers can participate safely.
- Care & Wear: Please keep in mind that doing lots of movement in Halloween costumes could result in unintentional rips or tears.
- Class Photos: We will be taking a group picture of the students in all classes at the end of class!

Competition Team Students:
- Required Attire: Standard leotard, tights, and shorts must still be worn to all classes.
- Costume Preference: We prefer old dance costumes over Halloween costumes, as this allows us to correct your technique and form more effectively.
- Restrictive Costumes: Any costume that is too restricting may be asked to be removed during class so dancers can train properly.

We can't wait to see everyone in their costumes this week!

Shared from another studio:

“Not every dancer will grow up to be a professional dancer, but every dancer has the potential to become something extraordinary. 🩰

One day, these hip hop shoes will be traded for scrubs, briefcases, classrooms, courtrooms, and so many other places where they’ll make a difference in the world. They may not all grow up to dance on a stage, but we hope they carry the lessons they learned here into every room they walk into.

Because at the end of the day, we’re not just dancing. 🤍”
